It was all about the tranquility, lovely clear star filled nights and the terradome must be the best adult retreat we have seen. Clean well equipped and with our cds we needed nothing. No phone or tv to distract and a lovely drive to Horsham for supplies. The best views of Grampians and local waterfalls, and the Wimmera Motor Museum(run by a genteman just as colourful as Emu's Alan) every couple should stay at least one weekend.....

Hi Alan and Vicki
Just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you for another great stay at Emu Park. We all had a wonderful time, and as usual really appreciated the peace, the birds and the animals! The kids (big and little ones!) really loved the yabbie fishing, and were blown away when a couple of the 'roos came visiting one evening as we sat outside by the fire - we called them Kylie and Willow just in case it was them! As ever, the cabins were a real home-from-home - I think you have more kitchen equipment than I have at home in there!!
Everyone came home really relaxed and refreshed, a really nice family holiday. If ever anyone asks you what age your place is best for, you can tell them from us that it ticked the boxes for everyone in our group, aged from 4 to 81!
Thanks again for having us, and hope to see you again soon sometime.
Lots of love

Emu Holiday Park is a fantastic location, tucked away in the middle of the Grampians. So peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature and wildlife, absolutely superb.

Well located and in the wild, we enjoy our stay and to see the kangaroos on the morning. The hosts were helpful.

The terradome was a cool, quiet refuge from the heat. Lovely to sit on top and gaze at the Asses Ears as they changed colour in the evening. Kind hosts, generous breakfast supplies. Lots of wildlife at the little pond. Bush heaven.

Lovely quiet sactuary with wildlife casually sharing the area-kangaroos, possums, kookaburras, ducks and many native birds. Hot showers. Comfortable beds and spacious cabins.

We love Emu Holiday Park. This was our third or fourth visit and each time we stay we appreciate the same things - the clean, spacious log cabin, the peace and quiet, the simplicity, the luxury in today's mad rush to sit in an unspoit environment and unwind amidst gum trees, kookaburras, possums and wallabies. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy long walks in the Grampians. Our boys love it. We'll keep coming back because unspoilt, un-touristy places like this are increasingly hard to find.

We loved the holiday park, it was peaceful and there were so many great painting spots! The cabin was very nice and we would love to visit again asap. There was only one problem, and that was we couldnt stay longer.

We had a great stay - accommodation was excellent and the people who run the park are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the spacious two bedroom cabin, with a log fire and a gas heater (it was cold weather!), a very good shower and excellent kitchen facilities

Log cabin was warm, clean & cosy. Kids (1&4) loved the trampoline, canoes & the friendly kangaroos. Its good to see all the greenery coming back from the fires. Mckenzies falls was a lovely walk with plenty of water spilling over the top. I hope the dams fill up soon for the locals. Great getaway.

We enjoyed the combination of rusticity and comfort. The grounds were unspoiled and peaceful, and the kayaking kept the kids happy for hours, even though the dam was at one of its lowest levels. We couldn't hear any traffic, something we don't experience in our busy lives, and the stars at night were a thrill for us cityslickers! The cabin was more spacious than those of comparable cost at other parks, and the wildlife came to our door! Emu Park is a lovely place to stay if you are looking for peace, simplicity and a beautiful environment.
